Today on Troy's birthday, I am thinking of all happy thoughts and the many funny moments we had. To be honest I think about them all the time. He was the only person that when he called me Samantha, I didn't correct him, because somehow it seemed right when he said it. He is so missed and so loved! The candle is UNC blue just for you. : )

Though you no longer walk beside us, you are in our hearts today, tomorrow, forever. You left us way too soon. There will never be enough words to let you know just how much we miss you. On this day, your birthday, we treasure the gift you left for us, the wonderful memories of the years you shared with us. Our tears are silent and endless. May the trees we planted grow to reach you in heaven. We love you, Troy. Jim and Brigitte

We were often visit you during our summer vacation back then. We fondly remember the boat trips with Troy. The "pool parties" were also great. Yvi had her first diving attempts there in her younger years. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Wilfried, Jen and Yvi

Like a Bright Star, Troy has shined on so many lives. He was a great mentor, a roll model, and above all a friend that was always there. Although he has moved on he will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss you my friend.

I worked with Troy in the Sanford NC office. He was my boss but he always said you don't work "for" me "you work along with me." That was how he was. He worked hard and expected the same from everyone on his team. He was kind, lots of fun and a sense of humor that made me always had me me on the edge of my seat. Troy, Darlene and the girls always made us feel welcome when they opened their home for work functions. Darlene thank you for sharing your husband with us. He is being missed by us all. Love Tammy
