Mary Grace Beck née Fleckenstein
Mary Grace Beck passed away peacefully at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Wilson, NC on September 21, 2026.
Mary was born on January 6, 1932 on Troy Hill in Pittsburgh, PA and relocated to Raleigh in 1987. During her lifetime she lived in Columbus, OH, Hartford, CT, Cincinnati, OH and Denver, CO.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne, and son-in-law, David Bach. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Gusherowski of Rochester, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William "Bill" Beck, in 2008.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2718 Overbrook Dr, Raleigh, NC 27608. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by recitation of the Rosary before Mass. She will be buried at Raleigh Memorial Park immediately afterward. There are no plans for a reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School Expansion or Hospice of Wilson, 1901 Tarboro Street SW, Suite 301, Wilson, NC 27893.

Dear Mary Grace was a wonderful person and friend to my mom, the late Grace Mary. Her dtr Anne, Mary G and myself were good friends. Mary was a home economics genius, a great cook, hostess and above all a true Christian woman. We loved going to Franciscan U in Steubenville to love our Faith more and enjoy the fellowship. Sympathy to Anne and David and family on their great loss of Mary and sweet repose of her wonderful Soul+. Love and Prayers. Kathy Jenkins
