Christopher grew up in Washington Heights NYC, just blocks from St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, where he made many life-long friends that meant the world to him. He and his friends spent most of their time at the church with many fond memories of their childhood exploits. After graduating from George Washington H.S. he went to City College at night while working full-time for Good Housekeeping Magazine during the day. He followed the stock market very closely for many years. He spent many days glued to CNBC!
Among his other interest were, coin and stamp collecting and especially being outside in the yard, gardening. He and his wife Irene also enjoyed traveling the world with trips to Rio Dijenero, Greece, Italy and throughout Europe. Eventually, Christopher and Irene purchased a Condo in the Dominican Republic along with his sister Eva and her husband Angelo. They spent nearly 15 years wintering there. Both families would often vacation there together creating many wonderful memories.
Christopher was a faithful parishioner of St Constantine and Helen in Rockland County NY, serving on the parish council and a member and former president of Ahepa chapter 455. He was also a faithful parishioner of St John the Theologian Greek Orthodox church in Tenafly N.J. where he was a founding member of the Mr. & Mrs. Club.
