Obituary For Christopher Lee Langdon

Christopher Lee Langdon, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Wake Medical Center.

Chris was born on January 7, 1969 in Richmond, Virginia. He was a fitness enthusiast and most days could be found riding his bike on his favorite trail in Umstead State Park of Raleigh, NC. Some of Chris' favorite things were his Jeep Wrangle, sea turtles, sushi, the beach, and Duke basketball.

His greatest love was his son, Cruz. One of Chris' favorite pastimes was taking his son to Duke basketball games. A recent memory they loved to share was when Cruz was featured on the “Jumbotron” at his very first Duke game. Chris also loved spending time at the beach and spoiling his two dog “daughters," Willow and Daisy. He will be greatly missed.

Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Faye Ellis; step -father Jerry Ellis; brother Danny Adams; and sister Tonya Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Lindsay Langdon; son, Christopher “Cruz” Langdon; brothers, Michael Cook (Sherry) and Jerry Ellis (Danielle); uncles, Nathan “Peanut” Langdon, Benny Carl Langdon, and Kenneth Wayne Langdon and his wife; as well as many nieces and nephews, and of course, Willow and Daisy.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Renaissance Funeral Home 7615 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.

Guests will also be welcomed to gather with the family after the visitation time. Details and location will be provided at the funeral home.

    I am so sorry to hear about Chris! I had known him for many years and he loved Lindsay and Cruz so much! You guys were the lights in his life. Everyone he touched in his life was better for him being a part of it. Our deepest sympathies to Lindsay, Cruz, and his entire family. He was a wonderful and kind person who will be greatly missed.

    I loved taking fitness sessions with Chris and also taking care of Cruz when he was in preschool classes. Chris will be much missed.

    I didn't get to see him much but for 20 years he was my Brother-N-Law and I loved him! He will be missed!
