Charlotte Frances O’Connor, 79, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024. For the past five years, Charlotte lived in Clayton, North Carolina, with her daughter, Heather, son-in-law, Brian, and two beloved grandchildren, Calhan and Zoey.

Born on July 14, 1945, in the Bronx, New York, Charlotte was the cherished daughter of Charlie and Frances Taylor. She married Trevor O’Connor on April 26, 1969, and together they raised two children, Paul and Heather.

Charlotte lived a life of selflessness and care, devoted to helping others as a teacher, mother, niece, and friend. A true New Yorker, she enjoyed the vibrant culture of her hometown, frequenting theaters, art museums, and concerts. One of her favorite places was the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, where she often attended concerts and classes. An avid reader, Charlotte never missed her Sunday New York Times. She also had a passion for travel, a love she inherited from her mother, and was always up for an adventure—whether it was a beach trip, apple picking, or a road trip with friends.

Charlotte’s deep faith and love for Jehovah guided her throughout her life, leading her to dedicate herself to serve him as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She spent many years as a Regular Pioneer, helping others learn more about the creator, Jehovah God.

Charlotte is survived by her two children and their spouses, Paul and April O’Connor, and Heather and Brian Greene, as well as her treasured grandchildren, Calhan and Zoey Greene. She will be missed by her many cousins and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation for the love and support extended to them at this difficult time.
