Obituary For Benjamin "Michael" Steven Marks
Benjamin Michael Steven Marks, known best by Michael or Mike, of Stafford, Virginia, suddenly passed away at age 35 on September 20, 2021 in his home in Franklin County, North Carolina.
He was the son of Benjamin Curtis Marks Jr. And Kathy Ann (Harmon) Marks. Michael was born October 1, 1985 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He moved to North Carolina, following his High School Sweetheart/Significant Other, Kristen Rachelle Brewer, with whom he shares two sons.
His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Jordan Anthony Marks and Kaydan John Marks. Michael has left behind two siblings; older sister, Dana (Chris) Morris; nephew, Brandon Morris; and his niece, Amber Morris; younger brother, Matthew (Kaitlyn Hutchens) Marks; and niece, MaKylee Marks. He is also survived by two grandparents, Nancy Maine and Virginia Harmon, along with aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Michael was a devoted brother, son, and father who loved his family more than anything. He was always there to cheer Kaydan and Jordan on during their sporting games and was available whenever they needed something and would do anything for them. He loved to ride four wheelers and fishing, especially with his sons. His favorite sports team was the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a hard-working Electrician for over 14 years and a great man who could get a laugh out of anyone he met. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A public Viewing and Visitation will be held at Renaissance Funeral Home and Crematory, 7615 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615 on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00AM – 12:15PM and Prayer Service at 12:30PM. TA Private Burial will be held for the family at Wake Forest Cemetery.
