Obituary For Aimee Michaud Gulvin

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, Aimee Michaud Gulvin, a devoted wife and mother, passed away at age 58 at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Aimee grew up in Lowell, MA and graduated from Lowell High in 1982. In 1990, she met her husband, Jim, at a local bar after work while waiting for her date to pick her up. In spite of only making it in time for the last two minutes of a Celtics game to see two foul shots and a rebound on their first date, Aimee realized Jim was the one and they got married in St. Augustine, FL in 1991. In 1992, they moved to Las Vegas, NV and a few years later, they welcomed their daughter, Whitney, and, a few years after that, their son, Conner. Conner, sadly, passed away in 2000 at five months old. In 2005, Aimee, Jim, and Whitney moved to North Carolina.

Aimee dearly loved her daughter, Whitney. She supported her in all of her endeavors, whether it required early morning car rides, chaperoning school trips, or proofreading numerous essays. She also loved spending time with her family every summer in New England and combing the beaches for sea glass. Aimee loved traveling internationally too so that she could experience new cultures, food, and history.

In addition to her family, Aimee adored animals, particularly rabbits. She enjoyed spending time watching the bunnies, deer, squirrels, and birds play in the backyard or watching cute animal videos online. She also loved finding a good shopping deal whether it was a sale at Barneys or thrifting. Her closet was always filled to the brim with stylish clothes.

Aimee was preceded in death by her son, Conner Gulvin; her parents-in-law, Gerri and Glenn Gulvin; and her brother-in-law, Tom Gulvin. She is survived by her husband, Jim Gulvin; her daughter and son-in-law (approval pending), Whitney Gulvin and DJ Muldowney; her parents, Bert and Patty Michaud; her sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Eric Kniager; and her sister-in-law and nieces, Sherry Lutz, Emily Nelson, and Katie Lutz.
