So shocked to see this...sending heartfelt condolences to the Crowell family. I served in the Army with Billy and he was my best friend. He was a great guy and he had my back 24/7 and I had his.....I last spoke to him in 2016 shortly after my wife passed away. I would like to ride down to Raleigh someday on my motorcycle to visit his grave if he has a grave somewhere. If someone could let me know some details I would appreciate it... My condolences to the Crowell family. I grew up with Billy, as we knew him then. He attended a pool party at my house the day his father died. I remember how hard the day was for him. We were in the 4th grade I believe. He lived very close by to where I grew up but I had not seen him in many years. I am sorry to learn he was taken at such a early age. I hope his family, and especially his mother knows he will be remembered by many. My regards, Sherry Radcliffe Jeffreys
