I am sorry for your loss, please accept my heartfelt sympathy. While you are preparing to lay your loved one to rest, to sleep for a little while in death(John 11:11), I hope you will find comfort in knowing that soon Jesus' promise of the resurrection will be fulfilled; when he will awaken those who are sleeping in death, restoring them back to life, to live eternally on the Paradise earth.-John 5:28,29; Luke 23:43. Until that blessed promise is fulfilled; may Jehovah God soothe your grieving hearts now and grant you peace and comfort.during this time of sorrow.-Matthew5:4.

Dear Sue, Greg, and all the family: I first met all of you under the very difficult circumstances of Earl's heart attack when I came with Eddie to the hospital...can it really be 14 yrs ago? Sue, you were grace under fire that day, all of you were, still having the presence of mind to talk to me, and I felt such love and hope filling up that waiting room for the man that was Eddie's best friend. Through the years that followed, we would see you and Earl occasionally at Greg's games, Eddie was so excited to follow your baseball career Greg, doing something he and your dad always wanted to, and wanted for you...you made them so proud to follow your dream like that! I have heard SO many stories of back in the day, when the 3 of them....Martin, Eddie and Earl....were growing up and spent endless hours doubled over in laughter at the tales. So that's what I will remember about Earl, what a sparling and precious soul he was, which was something that always shined through from him, no matter how else he was affected by circumstances throughout his life. Thinking about him will always make me smile. And oh gosh I shudder to think what he and Eddie are cooking up now; whatever it is, I know its gonna leave us laughing! And isn't that the way they would have wanted us! May God grant you all His unending peace. Love to you all....Tina Batchelor
