Mr. William “Ashley” Hart, age 80, of Smithfield, NC passed away on August, 4, 2024. He was the son of the late Clyde William (Bill) Hart and Marjorie Bundy Hart. Ashley was born in Raleigh, NC on October 2, 1943. He was a graduate of Broughton High School and attended NC State University.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam. Ashley was a retired freelance courier. He enjoyed nature, sports, music and his dog and loyal companion, Diamond.

His memory will be cherished by his family: Sisters, Constance Hart Goeden of Clayton, NC and Amy Hart Paschal (Kenneth) of Knightdale, NC; Nephews, Wesley Hare, of Raleigh, NC and Matthew Goeden of Clayton, NC; and a host of fondly remembered cousins, and friends.
