Obituary For Wilferd W. Schroeder

Wilferd W. Schroeder, 90, of Raleigh, NC died on November 10, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1932 in Lincoln, Illinois, son of the late Walter and Nelva Schroeder.

He graduated from a two-year engineering program at Devry University and subsequently went to work at IBM. He worked for IBM for 37 years. He married Margaret Boyce in 1956 and the couple had two children, Debbie Lynn Schroeder McLean and Roger Lee Schroeder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Schroeder, two sisters and a brother.

He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Schroeder McLean of Morehead City, NC, his son, Roger Lee Schroeder and his wife Kristine of New Market, MD, a granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn McLean of Raleigh, NC, four grandsons, Noah Schroeder of Kingman, AZ, Zachary Schroeder of Gaithersburg, MD, Tyler Stanis of Pequea, PA and Brian McLean of Raleigh, NC. He has two great-grandchildren, Aiden McLean and Kyle McLean of Raleigh, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 3:00 pm. at St. Francis by the Sea Church at 920 Salter Path Road, Salter Path, NC 28572

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis by the Sea, Salter Path, NC.

    My Deepest Condolences On Your Loss. Mr.Will Was Heaven Sent. He Was The Sweetest Person You Could Have Ever Met. I Was Mr.Will Caregiver For 2yrs And The Time I Spent With Him Was Nothing But Talks And Laughter. He Will Be Missed.
