Karin and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the good fortune to sit next to Wayne recently at my Idaho adventure send off. I knew him to not be feeling well but he was funny and thoughtful and I am glad that I got to spend some time visiting with him. In prayer, Lewis

Karin, We love you and we are thinking of you! Emily said that even though she didn't know Wayne really well, she told me last night she remembered when you all come up here ( 4 or 5 years ago) and how good Wayne could sing and that he gave great hugs. I can remember him always wanting to play around with anything electronic just to know how it works and then Brent wouldn't have any idea of to get it to work the way he remember...haha. It was comical. Love, Michele and Emily

Wayne and I worked together at the state psych hospital. We took care of the medically ill patients. He was incredibly passionate about taking care of patients. He was meticulous in his analysis, and would talk at length in meetings about the very specialized needs of the people he was helping. He would smile and laugh with me about the frustrations of the day. He was always upbeat when I called him, always willing to help and do extra. He put patients first. In an industry of challenging work where people sometimes complain and get angry, Wayne didn't, not with his colleagues or patients. He seemed to love his work and we loved him. My thoughts are with his family.

I was a patient of Wayne's for almost 4 years. He was kind, caring and an excellent physical therapist. And above all a wonderful person. He shared a lot of wisdom I will always remember. Sincerely, Terri Hinton
