Obituary for "Tim " Timothy John Kupec

Tim Kupec, 52, of Franklinton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Tim was born in Des Plaines, Illinois to John and Sibyl Kupec on May 10, 1968. He graduated in 1986 from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC. After high school, Tim served in the US Navy aboard a nuclear powered submarine. For the past 8 years Tim was a foreman with Spellman Construction.

Throughout Tim’s life he brought laughter and smiles to all those he came into contact. His infectious personality, big heart, love of animals, and deep compassion were obvious to all that knew him. He was incredibly hard working and always working on projects with his mother and father at their house and his handiwork will surround them forever.

Tim is survived by his parents, John and Sibyl Kupec; his son, Austin Kupec; and his sisters, Alaina Brennan-Kupec and Kristie Kupec. Tim was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Kupec.

A visitation will take place at St. Luke’s the Evangelist Catholic Church, 12333 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC 27614 at 10 AM. His funeral will follow at 11 AM. ***Please note, masks will be required for entry***
