Terry Michael Nelson, 67 of Raleigh, died Friday afternoon September 12, 2014.

Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Terry was the son of the late Leonard Nelson and Mary Christie. He was a 1964 Graduate of McDowell High School and then served active duty in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1966. After his service he began his career as an engineer with IBM.

Terry is survived by his wife, Veronica Nelson; son, Michael Nelson; two grandchildren Taylor Nelson and Jack Nelson; and three brothers, Robert Nelson, William Nelson, and Leonard Nelson.
