Sylvia Anne Seelinger was born on September 23, 2021. Her life on this earth lasted a brief, but beautiful 37 minutes. She was baptized by Fr. Omoviekovwa Nakireru and spent the remainder of her life in the arms of her parents before heeding the call of the Lord. Although her time on this earth was brief, she was much loved by not only her parents, Blair and Tommy, and siblings, Felix, Irene, and Maximilian, but by many others.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire community of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and School, our tireless advocates at Be Not Afraid, everyone who expressed their love and support through CaringBridge, our families, friends, neighbors, and everyone else who has prayed for and supported us through this time. We grieve that our time with Sylvia was so brief and that those who loved her so much did not get a chance to meet her but we rest soundly in the conviction that she is resting in the arms of the Lord and that one day we will all be reunited where there are no tears.

A Wake will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at Renaissance Funeral Home, 7615 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. Her funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 West Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Burial will be held immediately following at the Wake Forest Cemetery, 400 N. White Street, Wake Forest, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BE NOT AFRAID, who provided an invaluable service to the family through all of this.
