Susan Shelly Stanfield of Raleigh, N.C. died on December 26. 2020 after a tiring battle with Cancer. She was born in Marion, N.C. on October 4, 1951, daughter of the late Carl and Jean Stanfield.

Susan grew up and attended High School in Plymouth, N.C. She then graduated from N.C. State University with a BS degree in Education and then attended Stanford University and received a Masters Degree in Business.

Throughout her professional years she was a Math teacher and golf coach at Ravenscroft in Raleigh, NC, Management Position at General Electric in Schenectady NY, Management position at Hallmark Corporate offices in Kansas City, and Stock Broker for multiple firms in the Raleigh area.

Susan enjoyed attending NC State games with her family, sailing with her father and day trading in the stock market.

Susan is survived by two siblings Kay Stanfield Rooker of Raleigh NC and Walter Glenn Stanfield of Plymouth, NC.
