So sad to hear about Steve's passing! Condolences to the family! Steve was such a great guy and always had a genuinely warm smile and friendly handshake If not for his banking confidence in me I wouldn't have been able to accomplish what I have done in life RIP Steve🙏

Steve will surely be missed by all whom he came in contact with. He never met a stranger & always had a gift to warm you over with his dry humor. We shared many good times together with Steve & Meredith around the Creek, traveling to Charleston or our trips to Myrtle Beach. Barbara & I send our heartfelt love & prayers to Meredith & the kids. God Bless our dear friend. Willie & Barbara

Steve was a friend, neighbor and classmate growing up in Kinston, NC. He was always an outgoing sort of person with a dry sense of humor. We lost contact over the years but his legacy will be his commitment to his wife and family and community. My condolences to Meredith, their children and grandchildren on their loss. Lon Carruth

Through the time Hollon and Whitley have been together, (starting in high school), Steve and Meredith have always felt like family. Always welcoming, always kind, always caring. I have always enjoyed time spent with them at gatherings. I pray for peace for the children and Meredith. A family and life well lived.
