Sherry Elaine Seals Perez, age 73, of Raleigh, NC passed away on March 19, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family. Sherry was born on May, 25, 1943 in Gulfport, MS to the late Shellie and Pearlie Seals. Sherry spent her formative years growing up in McHenry MS.

Sherry’s pride in life and her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 52 years, Milton, and a loving mother to her daughters Lynn and Pam.

Sherry will be remembered as someone who always brought the best to any situation, she could find the smallest silver lining in any circumstance. She was a vibrant woman, even though she was short in stature, and was a force of positivity, determination, and strength. Sherry was the backbone of her family and planted a seed of ethics, compassion, and love in her girls, and for that, they are grateful.

Sherry is survived by her husband Milton; two daughters, Juanita Lynn Perez of Raleigh, NC and Pamela Renee Perez Gassaway (Daniel) of Morrisville, NC; one sister, Martha Vondell Seals Craft of Gulfport, MS; one brother, James Terry Seals of Stuart, VA, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Shellie Oscar Seals and Pearlie Mae Seals and a sister, Hazel Pearlette Seals Rogers.
