Obituary For Salvatore Gianfortone

Mr. Salvatore Gianfortone, 91 of Raleigh North Carolina peacefully passed away on July 30, 2021. He was the son of late Frank and Providence Gianfortone.

Sal was born in Brooklyn New York. He attended the public schools of New York and was a graduate of Lincoln High school. Sal then honorably served in the US Army.

Sal was married to Catherine in 1953 and had a beautiful marriage and were blessed with two sons Philip and Michael along with 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws Jeanne and MaryEllen. They were also blessed to enjoy grandchildren Christine (Nate), Gregory (Elaina), Nicholas and Matthew along with two beautiful great grandchildren Lorenzo and Luna.

Sal left all of us with happy thoughts of good times and many great family memories. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 pm on August 7, 2021 at Renaissance Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
