Life doesn’t come with a manual. It comes with a mother, and Rosemary Martin-Fountain set the bar. She was the perfect Mummy and Grammy to her daughter, Bonnie; son-in-law, Blaise; and grandchildren, Elikya and Jon. They were blessed to experience first hand her kindness, fierce devotion, and desire to always leave things better than she found them.

Rosemary Martin-Fountain was born on March 22,1956 to Millicent (Fox) Martin and Vincent Martin in Nassau, Bahamas. She was the oldest daughter born of this union. As a young girl, she spent much of her time caring for her siblings. She and her sister Marilyn (Mary) were exceptionally close as children and continued to serve as best friends and pillars of strength for one another until her passing. In 1972, Rosemary graduated from StAugustine’s College (SAC) in Nassau, Bahamas where she formed many friendships that went on to thrive and survive despite the time and distance that separated them.

A huge hole was left in the hearts of her loved ones with her passing on November 9, 2024. Rosemary fulfilled her desire to leave the world better than she found it. Countless lives were touched through her love for life and unwavering dedication to service. Rosemary may no longer be here on earth, but she will live on through her descendants and others whose lives she touched.
