Obituary For Rose Blancato

Rose Blancato passed away peacefully in Raleigh, N.C. on April 7, 2018 at the age of 93.

Rose was born on April 24, 1924 in Queens, NY to Frank and Santina Triolo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Blancato, in 2012. The happy couple lived in Astoria, NY; Albany, NY; and Raleigh, N.C. during their 67 years of marriage.

Rose – a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – is fondly remembered for her passion for creating a welcoming home filled with love, laughter, and delicious food simmering on the stove.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. April 11, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Wake Forest. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rose's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the charity of your choice.

Rose was a lovely friend to many, as well as to me. She was much younger than her actual age. She will be remembered for her smile, beauty in looks, taste in clothes, and welcoming spirit when visited. She was always friendly, in a good mood, and happy. May God bless each of you in your sadness and missing her here on earth.
