Sharron , our thoughts are with you and your family . We loved Ron very much . He was the finest man we ever met . We respected him so much .He was so intelligent , warm , funny - just the sweetest man you could wish to know . We shared his love of travel , enjoyed many memorable trips with him , were fortunate to be able to welcome into our home in the United Kingdom , and stay with him in his lovely homes in N.C. . I consider myself blessed to have known him and honoured that he would consider me his friend . Barry and Sheila

Dear Sharon, Imagine my sadness and dismay this morning when I started to think about old times and fun experiences with the two of you and decided to see if I could find you on line. Sadly, the first reference I found was Ron's obituary. He was such a nice guy and I always enjoyed my time with the two of you. Of course you know that Jane died in 1975. I never remarried and still live in the home we lived in when she died. Sara is now a doctor near Spokane, Washington with three boys and a husband, Mike. Adam is paralyzed from a motorcycle accident but is very active and has recently been hired as a regional coordinator for the Christopher Reeve Foundation. I just wanted to let you know how saddened I am by Ron's passing. My love to your family, Bob Lane

We are sorry to hear of Rons passing. We will always remember the times we got to visit with him. We will always cherish the times he was willing to share his thoughts and opinions with us during the times Ron and I served on a homeowners association. He had such a great sense of humor and a laugh we will always remember. Our sympathies are extended to the family during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
