Tanya - Tina & I are friends of Sonny from Raleigh CC and I just heard this terrible news. Though I had not seen Sonny in a few years - he was good friend and we had a lot of great times together on the golf course at RCC with the old group. He will be dearly missed. We wish you all the best!

Uncle Harper, my heart breaks for you and hoping you know how much I am thinking of you and your family. I feel very fortunate to have the memories of Sonny and myself at the State Fair in our younger years. Grandmama and Grandaddy loved those times. I love you all..

Tanya - There are no words that can express the sorrow I feel for you and your family. While I only had the privilege of knowing Sonny for a short time. I cannot begin to express the impact he had on me and my family. I can only hope that, one day, I can honor his efforts by being a mentor and example for someone else as he was for me. God Bless you and your entire family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you always.

I first met Harper 15 years ago at his small office near North Hills. He was having a problem with one of our ROM braces, that started our business relationship. I could always count on Harper to tell it like it was! He always shot from the hip and was always very passionate about the business and life. We grew to be friends and continued to fight the good fight. Tanya, I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed. Deb

Tanya, although I just started working for Sonny last summer, it did not take me long to realize he's a man of great character. He was caring, kind, loyal, generous, compassionate and genuine. My heart breaks for your loss. May God bless you and your family and bring you the strength and comfort, that only He can, during the difficult days ahead.

I am very grieved to hear of Sonny's passing. I knew him when we lived in the same neighborhood as children and attended the same elementary, junior high, and high school together. He had an infectious smile, a hearty laugh, and I rarely saw him in a foul mood. He was just someone full of good humor, evidenced by the gleam in his eye. During this heartwrenching and difficult time, my sincerest thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with you all. Sonny was most kind to me when my own father died during my junior year in high school and it's that kindness I will always remember about him. May blessings, peace, and abundant love be with you always.
