Obituary For Roberta Lee Baker

Roberta Lee Baker of Raleigh, NC passed away on February 3, 2014 at the age of 70. She enjoyed the last year of her life with her family especially her granddaughter Bradynn. She loved animals especially cats and birds. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and loved to cook for her family and friends. She is survived by her three sons: Dale (Sue) Ryba of Raleigh, NC; Joel (Christina) Ryba of Albany, NY; Erik (Meghan) Ryba of Raleigh, NC; and two grandchildren: Graham and Bradynn. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ethel Herschel. The funeral will take place at Renaissance Funeral Home Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 1pm with a visitation to follow.     Bobbie was always a dear and true friend that will leave an unfillable void in the lives of all of us who she touched...not only as a co-worker, but as an amazing, warm and wonderful person. She loved good books, great movies, laughing, cooking and baking, her family and anyone she met who she could share her strong love of life. Her will and courage through this last part of her life was nothing short of astounding. But then, that was Bobbie. Heaven is a better place with you there, My Friend. Kay Knudson
