Loved and respected by his lifelong friends and family, on October 12, 2023, Robert (Bob) Henry Pascale (age 86) left this temporary earthly home for his eternal home in Heaven.

Born in the Bronx, NY, the son of Italian immigrants, and the youngest of six brothers, Robert learned quickly how to adapt, work, and succeed, even when the odds weren’t in his favor. After graduating from high school, he spent time in the National Guard and the Air Force until he landed his, at the time, dream job working for IBM as an electrical engineer and later as a technical writer. But in time, working for IBM also meant moving his family to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he would work to provide for his wife and three children for the next 15 years. In time, another change in companies meant a change in location. So, in 1984, while working for Northern Telecom, northern Virginia would become home for several more years, until at last he was able once again to return to his Raleigh area home and community.

The pivotal moment in his life came when Robert came to a living faith and trust in Christ. This moment would lay a foundation on how to live his life, raise his family, as well as interact with others and his community. So, over the years to come, Robert would be found very often in his off-work time, helping, serving, and teaching in the local church.

To those who knew him, Robert was always kind, and generous. He enjoyed a love of fishing, working on cars, garage sale shopping, and skeet shooting.

Robert leaves behind a family who will cherish memories of time together with him. His gentle way, steady demeanor, and willingness to help anyone in need will be missed.

Robert (Bob) Pascale is survived by his wife Joan Elizabeth Pascale of the home, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Masters and husband Ron of South Hampton, England, daughter, Carol June Faircloth and husband Hiram Nolan Faircloth of Youngsville, NC, son, Robert (Rob) Anthony Pascale and wife Rachel of Chesapeake Virginia. He is also survived by his granddaughters: Abigail Pascale of Chesapeake Virginia, Nicole Wescoat and husband Aaron Wescoat of Chesapeake Virginia, Laura Masters of Southampton England, and grandson, Matthew Masters of Southampton England.

There will be a visitation for the family From 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm on Friday, October 20th at North Haven Church, 6620 Six Forks Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.

Immediately following the visitation, a memorial service will be held to commemorate his life and legacy.
