My mother, Carole (Giuli) Panaro, just told me of your loss yesterday. I was so sorry to hear it. My thoughts & prayers go out to you.

Accept my feeling of sorrow at the loss of my dear uncle. My deep thoughts reach out to all of you at this time. While he is gone my memories are warm with his presence. He was my "crazy" uncle. Full of fun and adventure. He would defy convention was and remains my guiding image of how to be an uncle. He's the guy that told the jokes, pulled the pranks, showed us how to step out of line a little. Later in life I admired the courage and grace he expressed in facing the adversity he encountered. He, like us all, had never found the ideal solution for every challenge but I believe he was right more than wrong, caring more than cold, happy more than sad. I shall miss him. To my dear Aunt Rita, Cousins Donna and Tony, I know you miss him more than you can say. Please take some solace in the love from far away that he burns bright in the memory of his nephew. Mike and Anna and your children were a great comfort to him. He told me once of his happiness with his family. You are all close to his heart and forever will be. My mother is sad that he is gone and I offer her comfort that she had a loving brother with her in her life. Again distance intervened, but love transcends time and space so that grief can be felt and transformed to the serene peace of memory so that he never leaves us. My sympathy and sorrow reaches out to you all, and my heart looks inward to those happy memories I have forever. My love, Nephew and Cousin, Paul

Donna and Mike, I was fascinated by your selection of photos from your father's life. He seemed to have lived a very full life with hunting, carpentry, and lots of precious memories of weddings, children and grandchildren. Thank you for sharing these with us. I will pray for the repose of his soul and for your comfort and especially that of your mother at this time. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Thank you for being such wonderful neighbors over the years.

Donna, your dad must have been a remarkable man to have raised such a terrific daughter, mother and neighbor! We are blessed to know you and your family. Our deepest condolences to Nicky and Lauren, too.

Dear Mike We will pray that your family will be given the grace of wisdom and courage at this difficult time for you. We have lost parents. It has a very tough sense of finality about it. However, they are there to eventually welcome us to God's light and are at peace.
