It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. I only knew Dyck via the Occupy lists on which he posted his eloquent statements, which were consistently insightful and wise, yet were offered with an admirable humility. As word of Dyck's departure made it's way across several Occupy groups on Tuesday, we wanted a way to send something to Dyck's family and friends from the online occupy community. Folks who have met Dyck through conference calls and email lists, and a lucky few sharing networks when activists would come to or through Raleigh for actions. Without time to send something to contribute to the ceremony through snail mail, we created an online document for memories of Dyck and to offer our condolences..
