Obituary For Richard Anthony Franco

On the evening of Thursday, July 19, 2018, Richard Anthony Franco, Sr., RPh, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 77 years.

Richard’s memory and spirit continue on in the hearts of his wife of 54 years and best friend, Dianne, and their children, Rich Jr. (m. Kathleen), and Danielle Franco- Wilkinson (m. Nigel). Richard will also be forever remembered by his grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Franco and Richard Anthony Franco, III, extended family and dear friends for his generosity and kindness in this world.

A Catholic Burial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, at 3:00 p.m., at The Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, 715 Nazareth Street, Raleigh. Visitation begins at 2:00 p.m. Richard will be inurned alongside family in New York at a private committal ceremony at a later date.

    There hasn't been an hour since my father's death that I haven't missed him. He and my mother built a wonderful life together, a life they shared with my sister and me. I am eternally thankful to be Rich Franco Sr.'s son. Love you Dad.
