To the Gannons: My heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Aunt Jean. I admired her so much. She was a wonderful person and aunt - so witty & charming, and always told it the way it was. I will truly miss her, but will enjoy the fond memories I have of her from childhood on. Our family visits to NJ - Caldwell & Wildwood, the fun we had in Myrtle Beach (I was so happy to be invited) and the phone calls I shared with her during difficult times & just to say hello. I know she missed Uncle Larry so much, and I'm certain she's wearing that bright Irish smile, holding his hand & reminiscing with my Mom (she loved telling stories about the 2 of them). Your Mom was so proud of all of you. There is comfort knowing she is at peace & no longer in pain, but she will be greatly missed.

Grammy Gannon, thank you for welcoming me into the family and sharing your son Thomas with me. I miss paying my "hug" tolls and our 2-person book club conversations about controversial books. You and Poppy were always there for Tom and I and the three girls when we needed you, offering your smile, arms, heart and ears. I see your strong, spirited presence in Erin, Megan and Rachel every day. The girls already look to the heavens for your bright twinkling star that now rests beside Poppy's. Love always, Renee.

Judy and I are very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. During the years Tom and I worked together on pools, I enjoyed your family and the warm relationship you had. Your Mom will always be there for you, as long we remember her. Please accept our sympathies. Lynn

Jean was so very special. I looked forward to driving her to St. Luke's for Sunday Masses. Her sense of humor and quick wit made our time together so enjoyable. She was very open and willing to share stories about Larry and the rest of the family and would give me intentions that she wanted me to lift in prayer. I took them all into my heart. Miss you Jean.

We've known Jean from being fellow parishioners at St. Luke's church. Also, I was just one of several Knight Rides drivers who helped to bring Jean to Mass on Sundays. We will sorely miss her. She was one of the founding members of our church. Her wit, style, and insight were always a bright spot. My shock and sadness over her loss is tempered only by the knowledge that she is back with God and her beloved husband again. My dearest Jean, we will never forget and we will never stop loving you. God bless you always, Orfeo & Carren

Mom, I love you and will miss you terribly. You were so smart, there was little to nothing I could not talk to you about and get great guidance. You were such a great influence to me. I know you are at peace and with Dad, Aunt Molly and all your family. Love Tom

To Claire, Larry, Mike, Tom, & Laura, I love you all and I'm so proud of our ability to come together during the difficult times which we always seem to do. To Tom, Laura, and Claire I just want to say thank you for all you did for Mom (and Dad) over the pass several years and the sacrifices to your own lives and families. It was difficult to be so far away and I wish I could have been there more to help Mom and Dad as they grew older. To Mike, for all that you learned about insurance and finances for Mom & Dad was an invaluable help in some of the decisions we had to make and help Mom make. Mom & Dad's influence will always be apart of my life as I'm sure it is yours. I'll always miss them and love them very much!

I was very sad to hear about your mom. There is a special spot in my heart for her and all of the Gannons.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire and extended Gannon family. I have such fond memories of Mrs. Gannon, who was all but a second mother to me as I grew up best friends with her son Mike. I always felt secure knowing that Mrs. Gannon was looking out for me and making sure I had what I needed, whether it was a sandwich for lunch, a ride home or an entry in the Pinewood Derby. Mr. Gannon also helped out with that last one. There will always be a warm spot in my heart when I think of Mikes Mom, Mrs. Gannon. May she rest in peace.

To all the Gannons: We are so sorry to hear about Aunt Jean. She was a wonderful person and had such a great sense of humor. She was always one step ahead of all of us! She always knew how to handle things and just what to say. I will always remember the vacations at Wildwood Crest and all our visits to West Caldwell. Even though my kids were young at the time, they remember our trip to Myrtle Beach and visiting with her and Uncle Larry. She was a very special lady and will always hold a very special place in my heart. She will truly be missed by all of the Devers family. I'm so glad we all got to see her and talk to her in April. I'm sure "Til" is so happy to be reunited with her sister and so welcomed by all those who loved her.
