Obituary For Raj Pal Aggarwal

Raj Aggarwal passed away peacefully at the age of 67 after a tough battle with cancer. He was born in Arusha, Tanzania, on June 8, 1951 to Hari and Savitri Aggarwal. He was one of fourteen children, growing up with eight brothers and five sisters.

Raj studied abroad for most of his life and went to India for college where he met the love of his life who in 1976 became his wife. They started their family together in Red Deer Alberta where he joined the family business. They had two children. After a few years they moved to New Delhi, India where they spent 5 years and eventually made their way together to Raleigh. As he moved from place to place, he has created a beautiful network of loyal friends and family.

He is survived by his loving soulmate of 45 years, Polee, his two children Rubina and Rishi, and his precious two grandchildren, Nyla and Navir.

So much love to you Polee, Rishi, Rubina and the children. We only met Raj once but his love and joy of life emanated from him, accepting we two strange people from Australia. Coral and Max Ball

Raj was a good friend that once lived in Red Deer. We shared many a coffee in the Parkland Mall either at the Hallmark store or Tinkers. Raj was a very good person and the world around him is just a little bit better for having him in it. God Bless you now and may you be at peace.

Were so sorry for your loss. Raj helped my husband pick out my engagement ring a couple years ago. My husband later told me after he proposed that he had a great guy to help him pick it out and make it perfect. He seems like a great guy and will definitely be missed when we go to the raleigh store. Raj was always full of smiles. May you Rest In Peace, Raj.

Dear Polee, Rubina, and Rishi, Your friends from Red Deer are thinking of you, and sending you sincere sympathy. (Jordan was in Rubina's class, and Polee - you and I shared driving Suzanne and Rishi to playschool.) You've been gone from here a long time, but we have fond memories of you all, and are so sorry about Raj. He will be dearly missed. Sincerely, Elaine & Roger Ward
