Obituary For Rachael Jane Harvey

Rachael Jane Harvey, 28, of Raleigh NC died February 27, 2015 in Durham NC. She was born in Elizabeth City NC on February 12, 1987.

Rachael graduated from Jones Senior High School, Trenton NC and Meredith College, Raleigh NC where she majored in Studio Art. She was employed by Crema in Raleigh NC.

Rachael’s joys were many and she put her passion and perfection into them all. A talented artist, she photographed, drew, painted, collaged and decorated. She loved flowers and trees, horses and dogs. She loved to cook the perfect meal, plan the next project, and shop for that special gift. Her smile and laughter were infectious and real. Her greatest accomplishment was the safe delivery of her precious baby, Ruth.

Rachael is survived by her husband, Steven Brantly Harvey of Raleigh NC; infant daughter Ruth Helena Harvey of the home; mother, Reita Rea of Pollocksville NC; brother, George Hall of Oak Ridge NC and sister, Constance Hengel of Kinston, NC. Rachael’s father, George Harvey Hall, died when she was fifteen and he remained a key memory and gem in her life.
