Phyllis Clark Licking, 82, died on August 6, 2019. She was born on November 16, 1936 in Kentucky to Eli B. and Oma Florence Clark.
A graveside memorial service will take place at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at three o'clock in the afternoon.

Phyllis and I grew up together in Falmouth, Kentucky. We were close friends all through our school days. After Phyllis was gone from Falmouth, her parents lived for a time on the street behind my parent's home. Phyllis and I saw each other for several years when we visited our parents. Phyllis was a beautiful, intelligent young woman in the days that I knew here. We had many good times together. My sympathy goes out to her children. I wish I had known she was in Raleigh, as my husband and I just moved to Wilmington 2 1/2 months to be nearer our daughter whose family lives here.
