Pedro M. Ortega 86, died March 5, 2012 surrounded by members of his loving family. He was born in the Philippines and proudly served in the Army of the United States in the Philippine Scouts, receiving the WW II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday March 15 from 7 to 9 pm at Renaissance Funeral Home, 7615 Six Forks Road. Funeral Mass will be Friday March 16 at St Raphael Catholic Church at 12 pm with visitation one hour prior.
