Pauline Marie Pollenz, 88, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Mrs. Pollenz was born in Tower Hill #2, PA and raised her family in Amityville, NY before moving to North Carolina in 1988.

A memorial viewing will be held at Renaissance Funeral Home on Saturday from 2-4, private cremation will follow.

She was predeceased by her husband Adrian Pollenz in 2009 and is survived by her two sons, Alan N. Pollenz of Fair Play, SC and Neil A. Pollenz of Park Ridge, N.J.; and three grandchildren, Jamie Pollenz, Shaun Pollenz, and Chris Pollenz. She also leaves behind a sister, Norma Jean Franklin, of Amityville, NY.

The family asks those considering making memorials to consider a local animal shelter or Catholic School.
