Russell always had a smile and was a great friend to many. We did so enjoy his harmonica playing. We will keep the family in our prayers.

Marie met Russell in 1960 and Warren met him in 1961. Russell & Shirley were married in 1961 and were good together. Russell stayed busy painting Coke signs and signs for many other companies and persons. He also jumped in and worked actively and tirelessly for the Lord and ran the sound system in his church. When he lost Shirley, he seemed lost. After her death, we introduced him to camping at Salter Path in the '80's and soon he purchased a trailer in Arrowwood and a boat he named "Sweet Thang". When he met Jackie and Jonathan, his life changed for the better. We spent many hours together at Salter Path and Arrowwood each summer along with Ronnie & Brenda Webber. Our children (Jay and Kelly) called him "Uncle Russell". Those were the good times. Heaven is a better place since Russell arrived. We could tell he was getting tired for several months and years. Yes, Russell is visiting with his Lord as well as friend Larry Owens and yes, Linda. He's also visiting with Mr. T & Mrs. "T" (Marie's father and mother). Shirley lived with them when they got married and they treated him like a son. Yes, we will miss Russell, but he's better off than we are. Jackie and Jonathan will miss him more. Our prayers are with you. We love you, Warren & Marie

Jackie and Jon, What a long life Russell enjoyed. Reflecting on special moments, his legacy and his last days is part of the healing journey. May you know God is there to catch your tears of pain. He has given you both a circle of loved ones to be his hands and feet. May you heal by telling stories of life with Russell, laughing and loving those in your path. In Him, Robin
