Noreen was born on July 5, 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Her family moved to Raleigh in 1954. She graduated from Cary High School in 1967 and then worked at Westinghouse / ABB for 34 years. Noreen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She received her Holy Confirmation at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Noreen enjoyed fabric arts such as quilting, knitting, cross stitch as well as reading mystery novels. She loved to sing, play guitar, say the Rosary every day, and give devotion to The Blessed Mother Mary. Noreen had a special love for cats especially her beloved pets, Emmy and Sara.

Noreen is survived by her husband, Milton Price, of 33 years (married, March 8, 1986); daughter, Jennifer Howell and son-in-law, Tim Howell, of Apex, NC ; grandchildren, Summer and Devin Howell; brother, Paul Smith and wife, Tammy Smith, of Tuscon, AZ; sister, Debi Mullen of Franklin County; uncle, Bill Jerrow, of Hampstead, NC; cousins: Barbara Jean Jerrow and Cindy Grub, of Hampstead, NC; aunt, Dorothy Smith, of New Castle, DE; best friends, Linda Rudisill of Cary, NC and Aly Curtis, fellow St. Francis Parishioner, of Cary, NC.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Smith and Lillian Smith; and sister, Karen Ann Smith, who died at birth.
