Milton Chester Perez, loving husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 79. Born on July 14, 1943, in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Anthony Earl Perez and Maggie Garcia Perez.

Milton was a hardworking man who loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He spent most of his professional life working at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.

Milton was married to his late wife Sherry Elaine Seals Perez for 53 years before her passing in 2017. They met on Valentine’s Day, which remained a special day for them throughout their marriage. Milton and Sherry shared a deep bond of love and companionship, and her passing was a great loss to him.

Milton is survived by his two daughters, Juanita Lynn Perez of Raleigh, NC, and Pamela Renee Perez Gassaway (Daniel Gregory) of Morrisville, NC, and two sisters, Julia Elaine Shea and Jeannie Kay Nelson. He was predeceased by one sister, Carolyn June Carpenter, and two brothers, Anthony Earl Perez Jr and Phillip Ray Perez.

Milton was a man of simple pleasures who loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his love for the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Immediate family will celebrate his life privately, and an interment service will take place at a later date.
