Obituary For Meghan Elizabeth Narus

Meghan Elizabeth Narus (Leng), 45, passed away on February 17th peacefully at home in Raleigh, NC, with her husband Michael by her side. She was born on August 17, 1978, in Minneapolis, MN, to Bruce Leng and Mary Ann Leng (Landes).

Meghan graduated from Edina High School and the University of North Dakota. She carried the lessons from her education with her throughout her life, contributing to her success in her professional endeavors. Meghan was a dedicated employee and leader, bringing passion and commitment to her work throughout her career. Her strong work ethic and positive attitude left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with.

Outside of work, Meghan had a deep love for traveling with Mike and outdoor activity. She was an avid tennis player and a skilled skier, finding joy and relaxation outside and at the beach. Her adventurous spirit extended to many other outdoor pursuits, making cherished memories with family and friends (especially Cape Cod every summer with Mike and his sons). It would be remised if it was not mentioned that Meghan’s favorite hobby was fashion and shopping. Meghan had style and it showed.

Meghan and her husband Mike were an inseparable and loving couple, sharing a bond that brought joy to everyone around them. They were extremely happy and always lived life to the fullest, creating a lifetime of cherished memories together.

Meghan is survived by her loving husband, Michael, her father Bruce Leng (Linda Haller), her sister Holly Leng and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Leng and grandparents. The memory of her smile and so much more will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Meghan's life will be held on Saturday, April 27th at 1 pm at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th & Highway 100, Edina, MN 55436. For more information, you may contact the chapel at (952) 920-3996.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause that Meghan and Mike held dear to their hearts.
