Obituary For Maurice "Reece" Livingston Byrd

Maurice “Reece” Livingston Byrd III of Raleigh, NC, age 29, died on Saturday May 6, 2017. Maurice is survived by his mother Beverly Duke; sister Ashley Meade ( Ian ); grandparents, Joe and Margaret Hall; aunt, Ginger ( Paul ) Fabrizio; uncle, Joseph (Cindy ) Hall; cousins, Robert, Juliana and Al; and nephew Hudson Meade. He is preceded in death by his father Maurice Byrd Jr.

Words cannot express how much his family and friends will miss him, he will be remembered as a genuine kind soul, who had so much compassion for people. Music was an important part of his life and his favorite songs will forever be etched in the memories of those who loved him.

In the words of his closest friends; “Reece showed me what compassion was all about. He always had a kind word of encouragement, he was great at that, it came naturally for him. The best part is you always knew he was genuine, and truly enjoyed lifting others up”
