Maura began her career in education and soon after, pursued a career in global sales training for teams and executives at IBM and the IBM spinoff, Kyndryl. Maura was well respected by her mentors and students who describe her as a consummate professional with a passion for driving positive change in the local office and the global classroom.

My fond memories of Maura are filled with lots of love and laughter. She was always a bright light in every room she walked in. We shared so many stories as we worked closely side by side together at IBM for many years. We called ourselves "Partners In Crime." (PICs) 😉 Maura has earned her wings. Fly high among the angels my dear friend! I will miss you dearly. "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my heart and my potion forever." Psalm 73:26 Lorette Shaw

It's taken me several days to find words. Maura was such a smart, kind, generous, competent woman. Her passing is a huge loss to all who knew her. Rest in peace, Maura.

Maura was a fun, cool big sister to the young women of first floor Roncalli at Boston College (79-80). As our resident assistant during our freshmen year, Maura's enthusiasm, support, and warmth created a community of friends. Forty-five years later our friendships endure and we remember her with love and appreciation. With deepest sympathies to her family, Liz, Ceci, Jeanne, Karen, Debbie, Kathy, Mary Beth, Anne, Betty, Sue, and Paddi.

We had some great times! I remember how much fun her kids were. The twins were wonderfully mischievous, and "face down" Conner was always ready for a tussle. It has been a while since we had the pleasure of being together, but we had great times drinking good wine, cooking great food and having an awesome time together. Maura will be missed!

Maura was the most transparent person I ever met. She will tell you things are they are and never sugar code them, I loved that about her. She was my peer for many years and we helped each other survived many corporate changes and struggles, I will remember her as the strong professional woman she was. From Costa Rica to where you are dear Maura.

I have so many great memories of Maura. From the 1st day I met her at Oceanside pool, to all the Lifeguard nights at the Arizona. The Moores, helping me through my brother's death. A very memorable 60's party, visiting me at JMU, visiting you at BC. The Hamptons, Fishers Island and lobstering, playing Trivial Pursuit. San Diego, Mexico, my 1st time in Disneyland. My bridesmaid, your bridesmaid, our kids riding Yaack scooters, .. And the millions of phone conversations, catching up like we spoke every day. You say you're dolfin tattoo was my idea, but that was all you! You were my 1st real best friend and my beautiful bridesmaid, and the Thelma to my Louise. I love you Mona Cain, may you rest in peace my beautiful friend Maura

I will always remember Maura as a consummate professional. Everything she did was done with the highest quality. Maura went above and beyond in her work at IBM and (almost) never complained even when being asked to do extraordinary things! She was loved and respected by all she worked with. I was very sorry to hear of her illness and hope her family and friends will always remember her with joy. Love and kindness, Rosemarie Livigni
