Mrs. Mary H. Collins, 91, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Winnsboro, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 29, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Milton Collins, parents, Albert and Pearl Hudson, a sister: Jenny Jones, and two brothers, Buster and Bill Hudson.

Her life was filled with humility, kindness and a love for others that she displayed everytime she smiled. She dedicated her life to serving her family unselfishly and to serving her Lord. She was a member of Stephen Greene Baptist Church for nearly seven decades where she served on pastor search committees, WMU, Sue Vernon Circle, and taught Sunbeams as a young mother and Sunday School as an adult. She was always on call to give an encouraging word or helping hand. She enjoyed life especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves a daughter, Mary Jean Brigman and son, Tom Collins: daughter in law, Jane King Collins; granddaughters, Chris, Melissa, Elle and Krysti; grandsons, Josh, Michael, Andy and Jeb; and six great-granddaughters, Kathryn, Ami, Maylee, Annaliese, Becca and Adele; and eight great-grandsons, Michael, Jay, Matthew, Caleb, Ben, Graham, Luke and Noah plus many wonderful nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hopewell Reformed Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Blackstock, SC on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2pm.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in Raleigh on Monday, November 3, at 3pm. The Collins family will receive friends in the fellowship hall at the church after the service.
