I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Maria. We were classmates in Lindenhurst, Class of '59 and we last saw each other at our 55th Class Reunion. She was so sweet and pleasant. RIP Maria.

I am so very sad to hear about Maria's passing. I just loved her--such a warm and caring lady. I knew her from her years at Dr. Ayres' office. She always asked about our dogs, and she even came to one of our agility competitions! And she loved her family so very much and was so proud of you all. I know she's in Heaven. God blessed the many people whose lives she touched. Our sincere condolences to you all.

I was so sad to hear of this news and I send my condolences to the family. My son Elvis loved seeing "Ms. Maria" at Hayes Barton. Wednesday nights were his favorite with her. She'd build train tracks and play cars with him. She took a genuine interest in all the kids, and I loved hearing the stories about her kids. She loved to talk about her family! She will be missed greatly but I'm incredibly thankful to have gotten to know her a little. The world is absolutely a better place because she was in it. Peace and love to all who knew her.

I will miss Maria. We worked together at Hayes Barton and were friends. She was such a hoot! She spoke of her children and grandkids often. They were so loved. They were her world. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I didn't know Maria very well, but we often saw each other in passing at church when she was in the nursery. She was so kind, funny, hospitable, and beautiful, too! I'm very sorry to hear of her loss, but hope happy memories will sustain you. She was clearly a very special person. Susan Baldwin, Hayes Barton UMC.
