Obituary For Maria Christina Cortez

Maria Cristina Cortez, loving mother, grandmother and friend, died unexpectedly on December 3rd. 2022.

Cristina was born on May 3, 1945 in Cali Colombia to the late Alberto and Graciela Bernal Rozo.

Cristina's pride in her roots would show in her love of Colombian and Latino music. She always stayed updated on the news and events in Colombia.

She was her happiest when she was spending time with her family. Shopping with her grandkids brought her so much joy.

Cristina will be dearly missed by her children; Juan Manuel Cortez, Alvaro Cortez (Traci), Pablo Castiblanco and Cristina Cortez and 7 grandchildren; Juliana Cristina Cortez, Isabela Victoria Cortez, Sebastian Cortez, Oliver Cortez, Pablo Andres Castiblanco, Brianna Castiblanco and Luna Valentina Inaya.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
