Obituary For Margaret Rose Bilski

In loving memory of Margaret (Margie) Rose Bilski, beloved mother, sister, and aunt.

Margie was the youngest of six children born to Polish Immigrants in Western New York State and a 1st generation Polish-American citizen. This was the dream of her parents ââ?¬â?? for them and their children to be American citizens and to live in a land that was free from oppression.

With a modest and humble upbringing, she never sought fame or earthly riches. She was a kind and gentle soul who loved nature, all creatures great and small, and the simple things in life (a walk in the woods, gardening, going to the flea market, taking a country drive).

Margie was a resident of Asheville, North Carolina from 1979 to 1992, a resident of Cary, North Carolina from 1992 ââ?¬â?? 1993, and a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina from 2007 to 2011. She loved North Carolina more than any place else she had ever lived. God granted her a last visit.

Her favorite places in North Carolina included the UNC-Asheville Botanical Gardens, the Blue Ridge Parkway, St. Lawrence Catholic Church ââ?¬â?? Asheville, William B. Ulmstead State Park ââ?¬â?? Raleigh, the Raleigh Flea Market at the State Fair Grounds, the J. Raulston Arboretum ââ?¬â?? Raleigh, and weekend coffee and danish at the Raleigh Crabtree Valley Mall Panera Bread cafÃ?©.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Marie Brych, her eldest sister, Caroline Bilski Linstead, and brother-in-law, Clarence Withington, along with nieces and nephews, James, Kathleen, Marcia, Gary, Barbara, Susie, and Michael. She also leaves behind her dear orange tabby cat Miss Pumpkin. She will be deeply missed but remembered warmly throughout our remaining days.

She joins her beloved mother and father, Charles and Stella Bilski, and her sisters Mary, Martha, Virginia, and Alice, and brothers-in-law, Stanley Prusak and William Linstead, in heaven.

The family extends its deepest gratitude to all who provided care for Margie. Special thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Rex Cancer Center and Hospice of Wake County in Raleigh, North Carolina. Gods angels here on earth! PSALM OF DAVID The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
