This is a beautiful picture. I enjoyed getting to know Marcene through her sons, Ray and Tim at Thanksgiving or Easter potlucks. She always had a twinkle in her eye and would make jokes - just like her sons! I am really sorry for your loss and the family is in my thoughts and prayers. Thankful that she is with Jesus now where there is no more sickness.

It was a joy to meet Marcine and you, Ray and Tim, when you brought Marcine to Universal Health Care. You were so faithful to help her and give her your best support. I enjoyed going in and giving her a hello and just talking to her those last few days. I am so happy to know her relationship with Jesus and that I shall see her again one day. May you all have great peace and comfort from our Heavenly Father in the days ahead. Priscilla Morgan

Marcene has been a dear friend for almost 20 years. We were in church together, we ate lots of meals together, and she generously shared her beautiful pictures of sunsets and flowers with our Sunday School class. Marcene was fun to be with, and I'm so glad our paths crossed when she moved to Raleigh. Doris Edwards

I had the pleasure of working with Marcene at JCPennney's in Cary. She was a Blessing to those of us who knew her, always smiling and laughing . Marcene loved sharing her Faith, her photos, and her yummy desserts. When my Mom was in the nursing home, Marcene enlarged some of her photos to hang on Mom's walls. My Mother loved them. Marcene truly lived her Faith. " Give all your cares to Jesus". she would tell me. "it's what I do." She truly Blessed my life! Sarah Rose

Marcene was a real pleasure to have as a friend over the last two and a half years. She taught me a lot and I really enjoyed spending time with her. Most of all she taught me to take pleasure in simple things, she would always stop to pet the dogs, play with babies, and admire flowers when we went for walks. She was blessed to have Tim and Ray with her to support her through difficult times and she always told me how lucky she was to have them with her. Marcene will always be in our hearts. I am very sorry for your loss and am praying for the family!

Marcene was a friend for years. I always enjoyed being with her. She loved flowers, sunrises, and sunsets and always shared her pictures. I still have some large photos she made for me of the holiday gala. Marcene loved her 3 boys greatly. She was so proud of them and was faithful praying for them. One of Marcene's sayings was "can you imagine". I know you have seen Jesus and not longer have to imagine. I will see you in heaven my friend. Linda Caldwell

I so enjoyed getting to know Marcene over the last bunch of years through Ray & Tim. I loved her witt and sense of humor! She loved flowers and sunsets, puppies and pretty dresses and always wanted to share family photos. She was very proud of her boys who took such great care of her. So thankful she is with Jesus. I share in your grief and will miss Marcene so much! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
