Lynn Schenk died peacefully in her 86th year on March 24, 2023 at UNC Rex Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center in Raleigh. Her beloved husband Fred predeceased her. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Winslow; her two nephews and her loving cousins, Brooke and Susie.

She and her husband ran a successful commercial photography studio in New York called Fred Schenk Studio.

The family is especially grateful to Beth Barefoot and REX Rehab for their extra love and attention.

Her last years were unkind to her after she developed Parkinson’s disease, which she fought bravely with grace and strength.

We will always remember Lynn for her kindness, love and generosity.
