We are sad to announce that Friday evening Lynda Spiess passed onto the life here after. For those fortunate ones of us who knew her and spent time with her, of which there were many, she will be remembered as . . . Wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, friend, mentor, advisor, gifted artist, avid Photoshop user (one of her last comments were that she hoped there is Photoshop in heaven), photographer, avid reader, intellect, philosopher, political debater, traveling companion, story teller, generous giver, excellent cook, movie watching partner, drinking buddy, and entertainer.

Lynda generously shared love and laughter with the world. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Lynda was born in Dayton, OH to the late Melvin Crosby and Helen Bryer Crosby. She is survived by husband; William Spiess; children, Sharon Bryant, Carol Gurkin, Jonathan and Cyndi Spiess; and grandchildren, Eric Bryant, Candice Gurkin, Casie Gurkin, Crosby and Joshua Spiess.
