A valuable and irreplaceable member of the Greatest Generation has past over to the other side of the curtain. Loreine Fenton was a unique lady in all ways. To serve as a mom , grand mom, greatgrandmom or simply Nanna, requires a great deal of training. First you have to be able to cast 6ft 8in shadow from a 4' 6 in frame , not aneasy task for many but for Lorieine just a matter of attitude. As a rule it takes about 25 years of training to properly train a mom and Nana. Loreine started her training as achild since she was oldest. Her mother was an excellent trainer as Loreine became agifted to the farm family as all the youngans took their natutal slot almost without interruption.
Then Peral Harbor happened and there where other things to think about and another life to prepare for. As the youngans on the farm took their slots and prepared for other lives Nanna saw her shadow grow to meat her husbands 6'4" shadow and then some.
Anyone who knew Loreine knew she was a mom and a Nanna and Jesus was always in her heart. I know I'll miss her simple pleasure at Waffle House. Thank you for all you did for us and all you let me do for you. Love always Jerry Snegosky
