Obituary For Lois Paula Foster

Lois Foster, 74, passed away on January 11, 2019 due to pancreatic cancer. Lois was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family.

Lois was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 13, 1944 to the late Elsa (Treichel) and Normal Swansen. After graduating from Lincoln High school, she worked for Central Penn Bank and Frost Lumber Company in Philadelphia. Lois married Bill Foster on June 30, 1967, and shortly thereafter had 2 daughters.

Lois and family moved to North Carolina in 1972. Lois worked for Square D Company in Knightdale, NC for 25 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Department. Her employment left her with many happy memories and lifelong friendships. She enjoyed working, always had a smile on her face, and had a gift for making everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

Lois survived by her husband, Bill Foster; daughters, Kathleen Newton and Nicole Sherron; grandchildren, Cameron, Josh, and Grace Newton and Zachary Sherron; and brother, Norman Swansen.

    Lois was a great neighbor always looking out for people and their property. She was always willing to help when someone needed her. She was an active board member always concerned about keeping the neighborhood looking good. Sadly, the community was never notified of her death after all her years of service. RIP Lois
