Carl,Tom and family. Lois has been in my thoughts and prayers and so sorry I didn't get back to see her. My son Bob is working in Charlotte from Monday thru Thursday and Diane has not been here because she had Cataract surgery with some problems so with out a car and not driving I am sorry I couldn't get back to see her. I sent her some Emails. She was a beautiful Lady and Doug and her had things in Common because they were from the same area. I have missed her and it hasn't been easy with out Doug. Love in Christ, Inza Boone

MY wife Jean(Tom's cousin) and I have spent many nights with Lois & Tom in their home in Virginia Beach. We felt as comfortable there as we did in our own home. Jean & Lois use to call each other sister-cousins, because they felt more like sisters than cousins. It was a real family, with Tommy & Carl, and we felt blessed to be a part that family. I am so happy that Jean was able to visit with Lois last summer before she(Jean) passed away, and was both surprised and pleased when Lois was able to attend Jean's funeral. She will be forever missed.

Lois was a wonderful lady, full of love and grace. My wife and I were neighbors of her's as newly weds in 1956. She was like a second Mom and big Sister combined to my wife and me. We remained close friends for 57 years! She will be missed, but live on in many hearts. A great lady with a wonderful family.

Tom and Carl and all...I am so very sad and currently stricken yet pleased to read it was peaceful. If there would be any way I could get to Raleigh Sunday I will, but I want you to know you are welcome to stay with me when you come to Woodlawn. I will let Bayside know as I work in the office there tomorrow. Please send me more details and your phone numbers. My home phone is 757-464-6777. I'm sure Charles is devastated, but I'm forever grateful that they had all the comfort of each other since Mother arrived in Raleigh. My heart and love and prayers reach out to you all. I'll wait to hear more from you. Hugs and love to you and all your family and Charles. Paula Jesberg
